Tony Arauz Obituary

On July 14, 1970, Tony Arauz was born to Margaret Valdivia and Segundo R. Arauz in Los Angeles, California. He was the youngest of 6 kids.

Tony met the love of his life, Autumn, in Whittier, California, at Rio Hondo College. Together they had two beautiful children and made their way to Claremont, California, where Tony worked every possible job to improve his family's lives. Tony was known for excelling in every position he was given, working hard, and being an amazing father. He instilled a Christ-loving message in his household and made church a second home for his family.

Father, Role model, G-pa, and friend is what Tony was to so many people. Selfless, hardworking, loving, and fearless are all words people use to describe the life he lived. Tony went to be with Jesus at 3:55 pm on October 22, 2020, surrounded by family and friends.

Tony was dedicated to his family, making sure everything he did was in their best interest. His smile would brighten every room he walked into, and his endless love would make outsiders feel like family. He fought the good fight and is deserving of resting with the Lord.

To honor Tony’s life, we ask you to make every day great with no excuses by working hard and loving others.

Present Suffering and Future Glory

Romans 8:18-21

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”
