Rhonda Lowden was born on August 31, 1952, in Los Angeles California to Maurice and Willie Mae Brewster. She went to elementary and junior high school in Los Angeles before the family moved to Pomona California where she graduated from high school and attended Cal Poly Pomona College. Rhonda started her career with the State of California where she held various positions including Assistant Warden at Corcoran Corrections Facility. After she retired she spent her time traveling, reading, and making sure that her family and friends were ok, and if not she was always there to help. She brought joy and laughter wherever she went and always sought to comfort anyone in need. Rhonda kept up on current events and politics. Even if you had already heard the story you had to listen to the Rhonda version because her insight on the topics of the day was always hilarious.
Rhonda left this earthly plain on August 10, 2020. She was preceded in her journey by Father Maurice, Mother, Willie Mae, and Brother Roderick. She leaves behind Son, Stan-ley Johnson and Daughters, Michelle Lowden, and Mia Lowden. Also siblings Rodney Brewster, Ricky Brewster (wife, Brenda), Rosalind Ricks, sister-in-law, Julie Brewster, and sister/ friend Margaret Nutt. A host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We know that Her journey ends at the pearly gates where she will be welcomed by the Angels and she will be reunited with her loved ones to look over us until it is our time to make that journey.
