I met Patricia Ann Favors 17 years ago this month. I moved in April 2008 when Obama was the president, and we were in a recession. Trish and I had so much fun and challenges during the first two years of our friendship, but God. He began healing the both of us in our broken hearts and spirits. Trish was in her new apartment for only one month and me losing my job as probation officer after 5 years. I believe it was a match and we looked out for each other. I met her son Daryl and Jameel. I also met her daughter Tanika when we visited her at WCI. God knew what he was doing when He put us in each other lives. No matter what the situation or circumstances when Trish and I came together, I always felt at home. Trish and I shared a bond that some people never experience in a lifetime. We promised each other that we would be friends until the end of time. When she came to California in 2020, and I first learned of how serious her condition.of a cerebrum ataxia entailed, I never left her side. We learned so much from each other through the 17 years of friendship, and we cried together on several occasions. I could go on and on about this relationship and sisterhood for days. Just trust and believe Patricia Ann Favors was my ride to die. She will forever be in my ❤️
