Pamela Kay Williams

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our most graceful Pamela. She has been a blessing in the lives of her family and many others who knew her.  Pamela’s thoughtfulness and kindness were effortless and she touched so many.  She loved her family, travel, generously giving thoughtful gifts and quietly doing things for others.  Pamela battled cancer for over four and a half years with resolute gracefulness, always living and praying for peace.  As a reflection of Pamela’s dedication to helping future generations, she participated in a clinical research study at the City of Hope Cancer Center in Irvine, California.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Pamela moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in her teens where she graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in marketing management.  Her early career in retail management moved her to Sarasota, Florida, where she met her future husband of thirty-three years, Jeff.  Subsequent moves were to Anchorage, Alaska and finally Southern California, where Pamela and Jeff resided for the past thirty years, raising a caring son, Cameron, in Alta Loma.

Pamela is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Ray Southerland.   She is survived by her husband, son and mother, Pollyanna Southerland, along with her supportive friends and family.
