Martin Edward Rice

Martin Edward Rice, son of the late Evan Ray Rice and Dorothy Horton Rice, was born on September 19, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan, and departed his life on June 8, 2022, at his residence in Venice, California, at the age of 78 years.

Mr. Rice was a Veteran of the United States Army, and he was a former executive chauffeur for Hughes Aerospace.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Rice of Dexter, Missouri; by his sister, Mary June Triplett of High Ridge, Missouri; by two nieces, Carol Ann Demay and Debbie Williams; by two nephews, Dennis Triplett and Lance Triplett; and by his girlfriend, Lisa May.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
