Margaret met Hal at Treasure Island during World War II. They married and started a family in San Francisco, then moved to Los Angeles and eventually settled in the Inland Empire. She worked most of her life, starting at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and later in sales and accounting for the founder of Bob’s Big Boy in Glendale, CA, where she retired in 1977. The following year, she and Hal started Hal-Mar’s Golden Shepherd Ranch, a dog training and boarding facility in Rialto, CA.

Her abiding faith in God sustained her and inspired others. After her husband’s death, she moved to Rancho Cucamonga, where she performed volunteer work for Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Senior Center. She loved reading, sewing, crafts, and spending time with family.

The family takes great comfort in the belief that she has joined her loved ones in heaven, and with God’s grace, we shall all meet again someday. Fly with the angels, and rest in eternal peace.
