John (Jack) was born on April 2, 1935 in Chicago, IL. Professor, husband, father of 2 boys, and a pet Cockatoo.
Jack was a curious and creative man with varied interests. He enjoyed antiques, an interest he indulged frequently with his wife. This led to an intense interest in the rescue, refinishing and restoration of an entire household of furnishings – chairs, tables, cabinets, copper pots, and a menagerie of tools and historical implements. He also loved gardening, home repair, Chinese cooking, beer and burgers, and watching baseball and football. He had a great sense of humor and was the biggest family man around.
Jack is survived by two sons and their families.
