Jay Avila, II Obituary

Jay Arthur Avila II, known affectionately as Julio, passed away at the age of 65 in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Born on February 8, 1959, in Venezuela, Jay immigrated to the United States of America, proudly serving in the US Navy. He furthered his education at Western University, earning a DO degree, and dedicated his career to medicine as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in Anesthesia.

Jay was a man of many passions, including music, photography, and computers. He was a gifted musician and composer, often creating music compositions for special occasions for friends and family. His ability to comfort the elderly and his joy around children and dogs were a testament to his loving spirit.

He was a lifetime member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Jay leaves behind his beloved wife, Kimberly Ann, her two children, and his own children, Jailyn and Michael.

A memorial service will be held at the Thai Adventist Church, located at 10855 New Jersey, Redlands, CA 92373 on July 20th at 4 pm.

On Monday July 22nd at 10:45 am his ashes will be interned at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.

Snyder's Care Center in Rancho Cucamonga is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory. Jay's legacy of generosity and service will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
