James Michael Putnam

ames Michael Putnam 41, of Barstow California, passed away on April 26, 2024, from complications of Liver disease. 

    James was born on August 17, 1982, to Thomas and Jaqueline Putnam in California.  He graduated from Barstow High School in 2000.  In 2004 he met his wife of 18 years Shannon, together raising Rebecca, Jacob, and Matthew. His children gave him strength during the rough times and laughter, love, and Joy all the time.

    James was a tow truck operator for American Towing and earned his CDL.  He was proud of his towing/trucking family. 

James loved fishing, being a proud Pa Pa to Evelynn, Levi, and Charlotte, and building model cars.  An avid fan of the Packers, Kings, and Ohio State Buckeyes, he enjoyed watching games with family and friends. 

   James was preceded in death by his Beloved Grandmother, Josephine Moore, his father, Thomas Putnam, his mother, Jaqueline Palmer, and sister-in-law, Heather Solomon.

James is survived by his wife Shannon, children Rebecca, Matthew, and Jacob, grandchildren Evelynn, Levi, and Charlotte, mom Loretta Putnam,

4 sisters, Debbie, Dee, Teressa, and Amy; 4 brothers, Donnie, Thomas, Richard, Jason, and Tim; many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

    James loved us all so well and was loved by many friends and family.  Love is his Legacy.
