Cecilia Rivera Rodriguez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia R. Rodriguez on March 2, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on January 16, 1930, in Sampaloc, Philippines. At 22, she married the love of her life, Candido Rodriguez, sharing many cherished years until his passing in 1989.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Cecilia’s love and wisdom touched everyone around her. Her deep faith in Jesus was the foundation of her strength, and she prayed daily. Though she had limited formal schooling, she embraced lifelong learning and traveled the world, becoming a proud U.S. citizen in 1995.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Candido, and her beloved son, Don. In her later years, she found immense joy in spending time with her great-grandson, Jack, whom she called “Cookie,” and Leah, cherishing every moment playing and laughing with them. Their bond was a source of happiness and comfort, and those memories will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Digna with her husband Michael, Dorina with her husband Stephen, and Divina with her husband Dennis; her daughter-in-law, Edith; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Her memory will forever be a blessing to us all.
